Jan Wróblewski years long contribution to protect one of the most important Lesser horseshoe bat sites in Poland, near Głuchołazy. The roost located in the “Marmur” marble processing factory hosts the largest maternity and second largest winter colony in the country. Almost 10% of Polish population lives here, making it important even in Europe-wide scale. It exists thanks to the determination, care and sensitivity of the Laureate.
