Cooperation with the tourist guides in Małopolska is developing well. After last December training, many of them use the bat related topics during their excursions.
We have had a feedback on large interest amongst the participants of the excursions and the guides themselves as well. The topic is even more interesting, that the bats often inhabit the buildings of historic value, which are key points on the excursion trail.
Last Saturday, 30th January, a dozen of guides and candidates met in the Nature Museum in Ciężkowice, where they learned about the conservation of teh Lesser horseshoe bats and the LIFE Podkowiec+ project implementation. The lecture was led by the Director of The Ciężkowice Municipal Culture and Promotion Centre, Mr Wojciech Sanek.
