Over 50 persons participated in the first tourist guide training in Ciężkowice, 5th of December 2015.
Applicants for guides and guides wanting to upgrade their skills had the opportunity to learn about the potential the Pogórze and neighbourhood of Ciężkowice, offer to the tourists, visit the Skamieniałe Miasto (pol. for city turned into stone), get acquainted with the use of networking in their work, and how the guide may animate the group.
The participants came from Będziemyśl, Bochnia, Burzyn, Chrostowa, Ciężkowice, Dębica, Kadcza, Kraków, Krynica, Limanowa, Mysłowice, Olkusz, Ropica Polska, Sękowa, Tarnów, Tuchów, Wadowice, Warszawa (Warsaw).
The participants came from Będziemyśl, Bochnia, Burzyn, Chrostowa, Ciężkowice, Dębica, Kadcza, Kraków, Krynica, Limanowa, Mysłowice, Olkusz, Ropica Polska, Sękowa, Tarnów, Tuchów, Wadowice, Warszawa (Warsaw).
A special part of the training was on the bats and the Horseshoe Land, with practical hints how to disseminate this information among the guided groups. It is worth to mention the sympathy towards the toy horseshoe designed by befriended artist.
As much as 29 guides signed memorandum of cooperation, stating that the PTPP “pro Natura” will support the guides with the knowledge and promotion, while they will promote the bats and the Land of the Horseshoes among the groups they guide.
