The PTPP “pro Natura” LIFE Podkowiec+ activities move into Krynica. In October 2015, the renovation of the Saint Peter and Paul Greek Catholic Church begun. In the very tserkov famous naive painter, Epifany Dworniak, known as Nikifor, was baptised.

Now it hosts a colony of the Greater mouse-eared bats, and some Lesser horseshoes as well. The replacement of roof cover will safeguard the building and thus existence of the bat colonies. Later, also as a part of the LIFE Podkowiec+ project, the adaptation works will be carried out to improve micro-climate conditions for bats.
