November 5th and 6th, the tourist guides and candidates meet in the Sękowa Municipality, at the training organised by Janusz Lewek (Horseshoe Ambassador, Tourist Information Post in Sękowa) and Piotr Firlej (Podkowiec+ staff member).

On Saturday, the group met in the Health Resort in Wapienne, where they could watch some presentations on the nature, tradition and today of the Beskid Niski Mts:
Large carnivores of the Beski Niski (Zenon Wojtas)
Airplane crash in Olszyny and Banica-Krzywa (Aleksander Gucwa)
History of the Długosz family, palace and garden (Krzysztof Garduła)
Lesser horseshoe bat and the Land of the Horseshoes (Piotr Firlej)
Biology of bats. Bats of the Beskid Niski (Wojciech Gubała)

On Sunday, the participants went into the field. Despite strong mist, they found their way to the Kornuty nature reserve, where by the entrance to the Mroczna (Dark) Cave, Wojciech Gubała talked about horseshoe bats and their protection. Next point on the route was Bartne and its two tserkovs.
