  • August competition

Due to the website collapse, which made it inaccessible, we prolong the August competition by 1 week. Entries are invited until 8th of September

In August, young Lesser horseshoe bats have few weeks and grow fast. The sooner they get self-sufficient, the better they get prepared for Winter. Also their mothers need to recover after busy period of pregnancy and breast-feeding.

The question for August reads: how much time do the newborn Lesser horseshoe bats need to become self sufficient?

Gadgets promoting the LIFE Podkowiec+ project (T-shirt, badges, fudges) will be distributed randomly among those giving the right answer.

    Have fun!
