LIFE PODKOWIEC+ Project was awarded with the BEST LIFE NATURE PROJECT title, i.e. best LIFE funded nature conservation project. The selection panel applied many criteria, such as the environmental benefits, innovation level, economic feasibility and replication potential for other countries.
During the Award Ceremony in Brussel, part of the EU Green Week 2019, the final results have been announced. The projects have been revised in each category, in nature conservation the experts chose the LIFE WOLFALPS as best of the best.

All the nominated projects, independent form their category, took part in Internet voting poll, called LIFE Citizen’s Prize. The Podkowiec+ took the third place with 1196 votes, best among nature projects. The winners have been announced on 16th May, during the official LIFE Awards 2019 ceremony.
