First, this event initiated the 1st Horseshoe Ambassador Championship, a competition with attractive prize, run through the project-related Facebook website Kraina Podkowca (Land of the Horseshoes). This is available in Polish as the Ambassadors operate in Poland and their task is to run educational events about horseshoe bats.
Another important part of the event was a ceremony of handing out the awards of Golden Horseshoe and Land of the Horseshoes, This time, the awards were appointed to the Stowarzyszenie Muzeum Wapiennik (Museum Wapiennik Association) which received Land of the Horseshoe Quality Sign, and Golden Horseshoe recognition went to Family of Rybczyński, Tomasz Kokurewicz, Kazimierz Staszków, Jan Wróblewski. We thank them all for their engagement into the conservation of the horseshoe bats.

During the Bat Night the participants had opportunity to take part in the educational games, buy the bat souvenirs, and receive the LIFE Podkowiec+ gadgets. Other attractions were the bat cookies, possibility to scoop own bat-shaped art paper.
The great specialty of Wapiennik is live transmission from the rooms occupied by bats. These rooms were safeguarded by the roof renovation performed thanks to the LIFE Podkowiec+ project.
