The Podkowiec+ belongs to the largest bat conservation projects in Europe. It becomes recognised and valued by bat researchers abroad. The project has been presented at some conferences, and visited by the bat conservation organisations, in particular, the Vincent Wildlife Trust. Foreign persons participate in the competitions announced regularly on the project website.

Using different travel opportunities, the project team members make direct contacts with other bat conservation and EU – LIFE funded projects in Europe.

This year we visited such projects in Valencia (Spain) and horseshoe bat conservation projects in Bayern (Germany). Further close encounters of the third kind are envisaged soon.
