Faculty Artes Liberales of the Warsaw University organised a seminar At the Junction of Nature and Culture, which will take place in Niedzica between 9th and 12th June 2016.
It is a seminar for graduate students, in frames of the Faculty’s doctoral programme, which focuses on overcoming barriers between scientific fields, including both humanistic branches and natural science. Many prominent professors of biology and some of humanistic sciences are engaged into the At the Junction of Nature and Culture project.
The seminar will be located at the Niedzica castle, roost of the Lesser horseshoe bats. That’s why the organisers invited “pro Natura” to inform about these flying subtenants of the castle.
Podkowiec+ project coordinator, Rafał Szkudlarek, will present the concept of the Land of the horseshoe bats to the seminar participants.
