Rafał Szkudlarek i Renata Paszkiewicz were interviewed by the Opole Regional TV about the lesser horseshoe bats.

There are only few colonies in the Opole voivodship. One of them, located in the Aleksandrówka Sanatorium is endangered by the plans to close down the sanatorium and associated school. The staff of both institutions are in trouble, as are the bats living in the attic of the building.
