Public Library and School/kindergarden Complex in Czernica organised the Bat Night, an educational event for the 5th grade pupils. The coordinator of the LIFE Podkowiec+ project, Rafał Szkudlarek, was the special guest at the event.
His multimedia presentation and the competition with awards where a perfect opportunity for kids to learn about bats, especially about the lesser horseshoe. Then, with help of educational games, charades, painting the project logo on a t-shirt, etc., the kids retained the freshly gained information in their memories. As the organisers of the event expressed: the horseshoe bats gained many new friends.
